Credit Europe Bank Committs to Diversity in Companies
Credit Europe Bank is an international company
with many different kinds of people having various talents working there.
This diversity has been officially acknowledged as being an important part of
the bank’s business culture. By signing the Charta of Diversity in December
2007, Credit Europe Bank became one of the members of the German initiative for
diversity in companies and committed to creating a work environment free of
prejudices. All employees should be appreciated irrespective of their gender,
nationality, ethnic group, religion, disability, age and sexual preferences.
The Charta of Diversity is an elementary commitment to diversity, tolerance,
fairness and appreciation at work. “By nurturing diversity in our company, we
carry on creating a climate of acceptance and mutual confidence” explained Eric
Schröder who signed the Charta.
The Charta of Diversity goes back to an initiative of Deutsche Bank, Deutsche
BP, Deutsche Telekom and Daimler, with Germany’s Federal Chancellor Angela
Merkel overseeing it. By now more than 700 companies have signed the Charta of Diversity.
